Christine Jacobson

Hairstylist / Makeup Artist

Personal Journey

I began my professional career as a hairstylist 15 years ago. I have a deep-rooted passion for my craft that I experimented with by “styling my family’s hair” as well as by working for Lancome cosmetics during the years in which I attended the University of Wisconsin Green-Bay, where I earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Public and Environmental Administration and a minor in Urban Studies. Post-college, while employed by American Express, I continued to free-lance makeup events for Lancome on the weekends when I needed a break from corporate America. Finally, twelve years later, I decided to leave my corporate position to pursue a beauty career, knowing full well I’d be doing something I knew I’d excel at AND enjoy.

Currently, as a salon professional and owner, my job is to expertly service all ages and personalities in all facets of haircare, facial waxing and makeup. I have a full-clientele that I look forward to seeing and servicing each time they walk through my door. I’ve gained valuable experience and completed professional training and management classes over the years. I plan to continue furthering my education by attending industry classes as well as by purchasing training videos that serve continuing education requirements. I believe it a necessity to continue learning new and advanced techniques, as designs and themes change in this industry almost seasonally. It is because of this desire to better myself and hone my skills, that I’ve realized many achievements while employed with AVEDA at the Chameleon, managing Escape Medical Spa and Salon for almost four years, and now in my own business, Salon Mimosa, at Tru Colors.

I am a master stylist who excels in coloring, sculpting, makeup, waxing, blowouts and skincare.

Professional Philosophy

My professional philosophy is to remember that every guest has the ability to hire and fire me with each visit. Therefore, I must be curious, perform thorough consultations, execute and advise with each visit to ensure satisfaction. Client needs change frequently and I must suggest as well as listen.

Finally, I believe that maintaining a healthy body through diet, exercise and balance assists in bringing positive energy and enthusiasm to my client interactions.
